Each lawyer commits to defend the interests of his or her clients with due care and diligence, in accordance with the rules of the profession (Article 12 of the Federal Law on the Free Circulation of Lawyers).

Hence each lawyer specifically undertakes to

• inform the client of the expected cost-benefit ratio of the mandate.
• inform the client, to the best of his or her knowledge, of the strengths and weaknesses of their case, enabling the client to make a well-informed decision before committing to any legal proceedings.
